Underguard FAQs
Can I fit them myself?
Yes. Every set comes with all the hardware, and the guards bolt to the vehicle’s mounting points. Most fit in 30 minutes to an hour. Your Brown Davis dealer can fit them for you too.
Do I have to take them off for a service?
They are designed to come off easily for servicing and cleaning, and front venting holes are cut in where the vehicle needs airflow.
Will they cost me ground clearance?
Each guard is shaped around the vehicle to keep approach and departure angles as high as possible.
Why 3 mm steel?
Laser cut and folded 3 mm steel takes a hit from a rock at speed and keeps its shape. The grey powder coat adds a tough finish against stones and salt.
